My mother had requested that Graham and Alban Heiron should be in charge of her funeral several years before her time came. As soon as I met them I understood why. She had built a relationship with them over many years and they looked after my stepfather when he died. When my mother died they stepped in and were kind, supportive and caring and quietly took the stress out of everything. I first used their services for the funeral of my late wife Linda in 2018, which was officiated over by Alban with total professionalism and respectfulness at all times, after 48 years of marriage that was very important. Second time for my second son Daniel who died tragically Christmas 2020, who’s funeral was February 2021. Once again Alban taking complete control with the same amount of professionalism as Linda. His ownership of the Meadow of Remembrance enabled me to place the ashes in a peaceful and beautiful location. Both Mum and Dad specifically requested the services of Alban and Graham Heiron in their wills, and when the time came for each, their funerals were conducted with the utmost professionalism, dignity and compassion. At all stages of those difficult days after a death, Alban and Graham were there to advise, lead and organise - making sure that everything was done properly. Our specific requests, such as a viewing in the Chapel of Rest, or a particular route for the Hearse, were met with graciousness and a willingness to assist.

After the death of my husband, Alban provided a caring and supportive service and nothing was too much trouble. Alban guided us on what was achievable within Covid restrictions which clearly makes planning a funeral so much more difficult. I would definitely recommend Graham Heiron Funerals.

Right from the moment we met Alban, Graham's son, we felt that we were in safe hands. Where others made things seem difficult, Alban made it all seem easy. We were trying to do everything done within 8 days of my mother passing, in a parish with no vicar, an use a plot in a churchyard that was rarely used. It was all done and at no point did my brother or I feel pressure. Every question we had, and every change we wanted to make addressed rapidly and without fuss.
His manner was spot on: respectful but not OTT.
Of course I hope that I will not need Albans services again, but I have no hesitation recommending him.
